The second chapter of the book of Acts shows that the earliest Christians
shared meals as part of their faith journey, and University Christian Church
continues that tradition with Wednesday Night Meals, which start at 5:45 p.m.
Volunteers prepare delicious, home-cooked meals, allowing members and
visitors to eat and fellowship before our Bible study programs for all ages.
Cost for a family of four is $6, individuals pay $3, youth $1.50, and
college students are free. The buffet includes a main entrée, a few side
dishes, salad bar, snack supper for little ones, dessert and drinks. Mealtime
gives old friends and new a chance to visit. Then, before Bible studies begin
at 6:45 p.m., everyone pitches in to clear the buffet and tables, wash dishes,
clean up the eating area, and prepare the leftovers for shut-ins. For more
information, please contact the church office.
