Meeting Times

From the Parking Lot to Inside
To the left of the main entrance are parking spaces reserved for visitors. Once you enter, the smiling greeters are ready to welcome you, give you a program, and offer assistance. Ask them for directions to the sanctuary, children's classrooms, or a Bible school class. They will be happy to direct you or help you find someone who can take you to the classrooms.

Adult Worship
For adults and kids ages six and up, there is a worship service at 10:30 a.m. in the sanctuary. The nursery is available for children under two, and there are two Wee Worship classes for children ages 2-5. After the singing portion of the service, children in first through fifth grades are excused to attend Wow Church in the gym for kids' worship, object lessons, drama, crafts, and more! We want our guests to be comfortable, so we will not embarrass you or ask you to introduce yourself during the service. Near the beginning of the service is a "meet and greet" time when people can introduce themselves and get to know those seated around them. Don't hesitate to introduce yourself – others may be visitors, too!

During the service, the words for all the songs are projected onto a large screen. In every part of the service, you decide how much to participate. Dive right in, or simply observe. At University Christian Church, people participate freely, but they don't "make a scene." We don't manufacture emotions or responses. You'll find us to be real and relevant.

Beyond Worship
In a church, classes and small groups provide a place for close interaction with others. Once you've been with us a time or two, we hope you'll explore an adult Sunday School class at 9:30 am Sunday mornings. These classes are great places for hearing practical Bible teaching and meeting new friends of similar circumstances. A complete list of all the classes is available here. Coffee, juice and donuts are provided before class at 9:15 a.m. in the UCC gym.

We also hope that you will come and join us for food and fellowship at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday nights. A great dinner is served for $6/family ($3 single, $1.50 kids, free for college students) in the UCC gym, and is followed by men's and women's Bible studies, teen studies, and F.W. Friends for kids.
